Description:
Serial entrepreneur and seasoned management team have built an amazing high performance systems/software/database product and are looking to add 2 new members to the team.
Company is <15 people, has customers and product is built. This work will be on new features, engine work and calculation engine work.
A big portion of the app is all C++, all memory management is in C++ - there is also a large Java portion
Could hire a C++ person and a Java person - core (not really J2EE)
Engineers do "everything", dev, qa, code reviews, very dynamic environment, not "silo" approach to development.
Things that could make this a match:
Database Internals
SQL, query optimization and execution
Fluent in Java or C/C++ - both a big plus.
Significant experience developing UNIX/Linux systems software.
Agile software development experience - 3 week iteration cycle.
